Meet the Board
CARY’s Board of Directors consists of a chair, a secretary, and a treasurer. The Board meets monthly to discuss the affairs of the organization and to ensure the organizational activities are in line with the strategic plan. The Annual General Meeting is held in the presence of their membership and external stakeholders, who vote on a series of initiatives, including the election of directors (if applicable).

Imanzi Kayitare
Imanzi Kayitare has been actively involved and engaged in the Rwandan Canadian community for over 15+ years. He is passionate about community building, economic development and building the next generation of leaders.
Treasurer
Ngoga Fred Bizimana
Ngoga Fred Bizimana is Canadian Rwandan; born and raised in Toronto. Professionally, he works as a Sales Data Analyst and graduated from University Toronto with a Bachelor’s in Statistics and double minors in Psychology and Philosophy.
Secretary
Annelies Munyabarenzi
Annelies Munyabarenzi was born and raised in Rwanda. She’s been in Canada for over 9 years and recently moved to Toronto from Windsor, Ontario. Annelies graduated from Seneca College and currently works as a Social Worker.

Remmy Byiringiro
Remmy Byiringiro, is a young Rwandan Canadian professional residing and working in Toronto. Remmy joined CARY Toronto in 2014 as a member, he was welcomed and quickly became an active member and a leader in the CARY community.

Kizito Musabimana
Kizito Musabimana is the Founder and Executive Director of the Rwandan Canadian Healing Centre. Mr. Kizito founded RCHC in 2018, after overcoming PTSD (caused by the 1994 Rwandan Genocide against Tutsi in Rwanda).
